This is what I'll be drinking tonight.

I'd be drunk after just one of those. Good luck with the eight of them.

Hahaha, the Torpedo is a little weak on the %ABV side for an IPA but the Lucky 13 and Triple Exultation are both over 8%. I've had the Lucky 13 before and it is delicious, haven't had the other one. The Mjolnir on the label suckered me into buying it, after all I was looking for mead tonight but was disappointed on the selection that was available.

And this is what I'm drinking. Mmmm...hops.

Good god, you are a brave man.

I love Deschutes Brewery. Their tap house in Portland is a great place to go and sample everything.

See I had to get the 6er of Torpedo as the 22's were warm and not ready to drink, so I needed something to tide me over while they cool down. Isn't this a normal practice? Also, I like my palate ruined by the goodness called hops.

I've been to Rogue's place in Newport but I haven't been to Deschutes in Bend, which is strange since I like Deschutes better than Rogue for the most part.

Yeah, I understand that. I used to love Rogue, but I have kind of grown away from them. It is kind of like what happened with Stone and me, I used to love their IPA and drink lots of it all the time, but they expanded the production of it and somehow the trademark flavor got lost in translation. I have a hard time drinking Stones IPA now and it is hard to think of it like that as it was my solid go to beer.
I haven't actually been to either Rogue or Deschutes breweries yet but I have spent time in both of their tap rooms in Portland. So many good breweries out there. I'm right next to Sierra Nevada now and there is nothing better than cheap fresh beer from there. Also it smells wonderful out when they are brewing. The mash just fills the air.

Drinking some Heinies tonight with a buddy. Some great microbrews here in Toronto, but that's what we're drinking tonight. Need some polo shirts and M3's to go with this beer imo

Maybe a skunk or two to hang out with as well. Hahaha.

I'm drinking a mix of Solichnaya, Tonic Water, Lime, and shame.

Shame tastes delicious.

This was tonight... 16% ABV. Nearly a year old. Was amazing.

That sounds delightfully sweet and alcoholic. From all the high ABV brews I've had, it takes a whole lot of skill from the brewer to not have too much of the alcohol burn and over sweetness that comes with the high ABV.

I polished off 1/2 bottle of 14 Hands Riesling, 1/2 bottle of Barefoot Chardonnay, 1/2 bottle of Thorny Rose Cabernet Sauvignon, 2 St. Pauli Darks, 2 Newcastle Werewolfs and there probably was a PBR or two thrown in there somewhere
god cleaning out the liquor cabinet sucks

Sounds like a chore. It seems like I can't build up a liquor cabinet right now. Nothing lasts too long.

I need that Left Hand glass. It would go great with my Left Hand bar buddy. I guess another trip to the brewery is in order

It was sweet. But it was more malty than sweet. When it was fresh it was just a wild combination of things competing. It aged into a much better result.
